Deliverability Audits & Repair
If your campaigns land in spam or Promotions, nothing else about your email matters. We audit your sending setup, fix authentication and list health, and get you back into the primary inbox, measured with inbox-placement testing rather than guesswork.
Best for: Brands seeing open and click rates fall off a cliff, throttling from Gmail, or rising spam complaints near the 0.3% line.
inbox placement for a DTC skincare brand over 8 weeks, with complaints down from 0.42% to 0.08%
What's included
Authentication setup
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configured to at least p=none with domain alignment, the baseline Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook now require for bulk senders.
Inbox-placement testing
Seed testing with GlockApps across Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo so we measure where mail actually lands, not just whether it was accepted.
List hygiene and sunset
Removing hard bounces and spam-traps and setting a sunset policy for cold contacts, which is what pulls a complaint rate back under 0.1%.
Compliance fixes
One-click unsubscribe via the List-Unsubscribe header, plus the bulk-sender requirements that took effect for Gmail and Yahoo in 2024 and Outlook in May 2025.

Deliverability Audits & Repair: common questions
How long does a deliverability fix take?
Authentication changes take effect within a day or two, and a list sunset shows up quickly in complaint rates. Re-warming a damaged sending domain takes two to three weeks of controlled volume. One skincare brand we worked with moved from 78% to 96% inbox placement over eight weeks.
Do you need access to our ESP?
For the audit, no. We can assess authentication, DMARC, and public reputation signals from the outside. To implement fixes like list sunsetting, one-click unsubscribe, and re-warming, we need access to your sending platform and DNS records, which we scope at the start.
What is a safe spam-complaint rate?
Gmail and Yahoo expect bulk senders to stay below 0.3%, and they recommend below 0.1%. Above 0.3% you risk filtering or blocking. We treat 0.1% as the working ceiling and build list hygiene around keeping you well under it.
