Lifecycle & Automation
Automated flows quietly carry most of an ecommerce brand's email revenue, yet most accounts run a stock welcome and a basic cart reminder and stop there. We design, build, and tune the full flow library around your catalog, margins, and customer behavior.
Best for: DTC and subscription brands whose revenue spikes on campaign send days and flatlines in between because flows are thin.
share of email revenue from flows for a subscription coffee brand in one quarter, with cart recovery up 27%
What's included
Flow architecture
Welcome, abandoned-cart, browse-abandon, post-purchase, replenishment, and win-back, mapped to your products and repurchase cycles rather than a generic template.
Behavioral segmentation
Triggers tied to what people actually do, so a first-time buyer and a lapsed subscriber get different messages, not the same blast.
A/B testing
Structured tests on subject lines, offers, and send timing, with winners promoted so performance compounds.
Quarterly reviews
A standing review so flows do not go stale, with copy and offers refreshed against current performance.
The engagement, step by step
Map
We chart your customer journey and find the gaps where revenue leaks out between purchases.
Build
We construct each flow in Klaviyo or your platform, with segmentation and dynamic product content.
Test
We run A/B tests on the highest-traffic flows first, where small lifts return the most revenue.
Review
We revisit flows every quarter so timing, copy, and offers stay current.

Lifecycle & Automation: common questions
Which flow should we build first?
Usually the welcome and abandoned-cart flows, because they catch people at the highest intent and start earning immediately. For a subscription coffee brand, rebuilding cart and post-purchase flows moved flow revenue from 18% to 34% of email in a quarter. We sequence the rest by where your revenue is leaking.
Will flows replace our campaigns?
No. Flows and campaigns do different jobs. Flows respond to individual behavior and run continuously, while campaigns drive promotions and launches to the whole list. A healthy program needs both. We typically grow the flow share so revenue is less dependent on send days.
What platforms do you build in?
Klaviyo is our default for DTC because its Shopify-native flows and segmentation run deep, and our team holds Klaviyo Certified Partner credentials. We also build in Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, and Omnisend, and we will tell you honestly if your platform is the wrong fit.
